Neal & Dennis-? the International guys it was good to meet you. Big thanks to the event planners, staff & vendors. Thanks to Crane for the raffle hoodie. Great turnout today!! Had a good time, nice to have it indoors! (even with the smell of horse leftovers lingering). Thanks for the vendors that did show. Disappointed in the lack of vendors attending this year.

A huge Thank You to everyone who came out and made this event such a great success. The indoor venue seemed to work out really well and an indoors option will be in the plans again. Because of the great way everyone handled themselves we can now negotitate the possibility of vendor vehicles inside for next year.
To our steadfast returning vendors---Crane High Clearance, Rockstomper, Spydertrax---and our newbies--All Phase Offroad and and All Seasons 4x4--Thank you for your support and we are looking forward to working with everyone again throughout the year.
And yes, Big Dave, the Marines reported that more toys were collected today than any other single day donation.....including the Bronco game.
Thanks again everyone!!!!

I didn't really see it, but I know that they covered my friend's zuk with mud from the parking lot.
We started off our day with some parking lot brodies....in a totally different parking lot....no where near the event....hours before hand. I didn't have my brakes bled as well as I would have liked after shaving the rear axle on my trail rig....so, I took the daily driver instead.

There was one 2-wheel drive Dodge (with a fin on the back) dickhead that was doing donuts while I was talking to the guy in the Sidekick and we were getting pelted with rocks and when he screamed at him to stop he looked at us like what's your problem? That's too bad because by the time you get to the first Loveland Exit (at the outlet malls) the sky cleared up and the roads were fine....

Anyone with pics that wants to send them to me I am planning on putting together an on-line photo album for both the Christmas Caravan for Kids (Jefferson County Fairgrounds) and the Christmas For Kids run in Colorado Springs on the Colorado Association Website - that is if I get enough pictures.
Sorry I won't go to your site and "download" them unless you personally send me the link... and your name as the contributor.
Please send pics (or questions) to: admin@hightrails.org - and if you have some that are print quality (high res large) let me know off-list and I can give you an ftp site to drop them.
Thanks - the CO Association appreciates the support!

I just wanted to thank everyone from the Northern District who braved the weather to caravan down to Golden. I'm sorry to hear that the Cheyenne group decided to turn around and head back. Also too bad we missed the Longmont group but glad they made it there OK. Maybe next year we can finally have some decent weather and have a HUGE caravan from the North!
Shawn.
I have a few pics that I took and downloaded at home last night. I will try to send them to you ASAP so you can post them on the website. Give me a call if you need help with anything.
Chris & Paula,
Thanks again for a great event and glad to see the fantastic turnout. Being able to be inside this year really made a huge difference and helped to keep people there longer. I'm glad we were the first ones there so that we could watch everyone else that came in after and see the LOOOONG line of 4X4s.
Look forward to next year already!!
