We made it to the rock garden, but we had to walk. Towards the top there was 14-18" of snow in some areas.
Reguardless, we had a great time.
James' buggy started smoking in a bad place and he turned back early. The problem went away later.

had a good time while it lasted. I ordered a new starter today so that will be nice. And i will remember that you have to have your cooling fan on to keep you're ride cool:o:o

That was a good time. My first real snow wheeling experience. Sorry about the buggy James, but glad its working ok now. Its funny that the only time we had to use a strap was when I had to pull your buggy :-P Jp man, that thing kicks ass.

yea a buggy is useless if it can't fawking start....i just spent a crap ton of money and my fancy new starter and a really nice radiator are on the way. Should have everything ready for indy in 2 weeks!! Can your junk run that trail? If it can you should totally go with us.

Just curious; why don't you guys run snow chains in the snow?
I am running these now on all four wheels, love em: http://www.armysurpluswarehouse.com/itemDetail.cfm?product=Swedish%20Tire%20Chains&item=651

well with 6 psi and fully locked with 40's you don't really need any chains. Plus momentum get's you through alot of the tough spots. If you have to go up a really long steep climb i like to get a running start and gun it...i'm a little crazy but whatever. Chains might help alot if you have open diffs or one locker.

Same here....10 psi and fully locked...I've never had to use chains to get anywhere I needed to go
