Is it just me or is the weather never bad on Chinaman's Gulch? I always leave there with a little sunburn, even if it snows all day on Mount Princeton. I love Chinaman's.
I'm also pretty sure it has to rain on Holy Cross when I'm there.
Ever noticed the weather is always the same on any particular trail?

I have done wheeler lake 3 thimes. All three times, its great weather untill i get to the lake. Within 30 minutes it rains. We drive down the trail in the rain. Makes for interesting wheeling sliding down those rocks in the rain!

Getting to Chinaman's and back is either snow or rain, but on the trail, NICE.
Holy Cross, was always good weather for me. Although the last time I was there, 1983, it was snowing.
Other than those places, it always rains part of the day, on and off.
