Did a run up their yesterday to try out the new lock-right for the front(thanks Mack!)...having never really driven much with a locker it was a little different at first but i must say...NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE!! I ran the trails a couple weeks ago when it was dry, but it was pretty muddy and snotty in a few spots but the locker in the front made obsticles that i had trouble in last time, a freakin walk in the park! We went all the way up to the peak last time and i was having trouble in a couple spots where it gets loose and rocky...but with the lock-right, it was like a completly different vehicle...no slipping, no backing up for a more spirited run, just lots of crawlin! Also got my first taste of "true" body damage...theres a couple nasty off-camber/rocky spots that get uncomfortably close to the trees...well, i met up with one in a nasty way...

Nice work! It looks like you got pretty lucky because nothing looks messed up other than the fender.

See that looks good now you have no reason not to trim those fenders. No need to get a new one chicks dig body damage.

I've been wheeling full size rigs on that mountain for 25 years and haven't buggered one up yet. How do you little guys do it?

Sadly enough I always love the first dent I put in my rig, just a good reminder of that time you went wheeling. Otherwise dents dont make me happy. Lockers kick ass. Lars, you have skill my friend, its easy to get body damage imo, if your foots heavy and determination strong. Especially when youre trying something you really shouldnt, which may be my problem lol :bounce2:

Has anyone had trouble with hunters up there saying that driving the Crystal mountain trail is trespassing?

hunters are just tryin to get ya to quit driving up and down the roads. don't you know that where they hunt and they are to lazy to walk into the woods and find the deer, they want the easy deer that come to the road. :tisk:

Isnt it illegal to hunt any sort of animal within a certain amount of feet from any road?? I wanna say 1000 feet...maybe that was camping spots though...

It's also illegal to shoot across a road but you see how well that law works in Lefthand.

50 feet is measured from the center line of a road so you can actually hunt surprisingly close to the road.
