Ran Spring Creek with a few guys from the board on Sunday. We had a few people not show, I think the snow scared them ;)
I think we all had a good time despite the snow after we found the right trail. It started to come down hard toward the top. Made for a long, wet day but everyone made it out ok without too many problems. The snow added an extra challenge to the mix for sure :D
I would have liked to play on some of the obstacles a little more but with the snow, I was just happy to make it up the first time. I don't have any pictures; I was busy doing a poor job of trying to spot. I can't wait to do the trail when it's dry, should be even more fun.
Thanks guys, it was good to meet everyone!

Yeah, I had a lot of fun too. No way your spotting was worse than my dads though. Me: "hard passenger" .... my dad: "hard driver"... WHAM tie rod. WHAM front diff. WHAM rear diff. Sorry Nick

Snow made it a lot more fun IMO, trucking through the rock garden was a blast. Thanks to Dave for spotting me through that.

I'll have my pics posted up probably on Wednesday, got some great ones.

EDIT:: On a side note... walked out to the jeep to find 3" of water in the driver side area. WTF??

I wish I would have hit the rock garden, but I was not going to be the first one through. I was about half way through the bypass by the time Dave was working his way through the garden. Oh well, next time. I was impressed your rig went through that with open diffs in all that snow.....
Good driving!
Looking forward to the pics.

Yea, that was a good time. Having your grill fall off, and then driving over it is something I hope no one ever has to expreience *crrruuunch* I want to see some pics. And if anyone was wondering why I had my window open the ENTIRE time...it's because I can't roll it up (not because I love being cold and having a wet ass.)

Oh and no problem with the spotting Scott, I figure if I don't bring my own I better be ready to take what I can get :D

I assume once Scott does get them up they'll be on his website: http://www.s-bomb.com/ :bounce2: (http://www.s-bomb.com/)

Yeah, they'll be thumbnailed all nice and pretty in the 'wheelin' section, but not for a bit. Heading out to Moab tomorrow morning and I don't have time to diddle with html. That being said, I uploaded the best pics into a directory so you can look at them in the non-sexy format. Got some great pics. My dad got some too but they're enourmous (8 MP Leica) and I'll have to re-size them to make them internet friendly.
