Great wheelin with ya Rabbit....Thanks for posting the pics....Tell your wife I was impressed with her driving skillz....(or I'll let her know later 2nite :flipoff2: )....That TJ rocks, BTW...I'll have that $2600 to ya this week.
Munts was on his game and pushin' his rig  ....quite impressive showing...I just don't wanna follow him anymore since the "blue light disco dash" was still pretty blinding from 100 yards back  .....If I ever need a dash panel put together, Nelson's got the job ;)
Great time...laid back maiden voyage for the buggy....startin' to get the feel for it. I may have to keep it :D
Catch up with ya next time bfg....

Damn I didn't know Pimp Daddy Kane was in our presence! Real good time especially how long it took us! Anytime you can run that trail in less than 3 hours on a saturday your getting places. That rear steer should be outlawed!
Yo crackwabbit at least I wasn't pulling my junk in the middle of the trail! I would post a picture but I DON'T WANT TO OFFEND ANYONE especially if you thought that spidey had a small sack!

On 2nd thought...I think I'd rather not see pics of such an offesive display.

Matt and Blake were with me in Blake's black ZJ with an 8" lift that's all armored up. the second time we went through we were in a huge line of about 20 or 30 rigs right about in the middle. Great big built Waggy was right behind me most of the way.

As in Matt, that would be me myself and I. irok4runner, I don't believe that we saw you at all. We ended up running into the CSU guys towards the bottom of LH on the way down after our second run.
Unfortunately, I had to ride shotty in Blakes ZJ this run because my rig's cage is sitting upsidedown on my gerage floor at the current moment. It was killin' me not being able to drive.
And no pics because there was no camera's brought up.
Oh and by the way Nice buggy Rex.

October 10th, 2005, 07:09 PM
Was that your Toy that had the front T-case blow up on the rock? The one that got winched down?
That was friggin incredible!
Glad to see you got down though.

Yeah I drove very slowly back to Boulder, duct taped the big pieces back together so it would hold oil. I ended up putting two gallons of 90w through it as it left a trail all the way home. Just tryn to put on a good show. Any pics?

wow, I thought sure it would be on a flatbed tow truck at the bottom. I didn't have a camera but I saw a lot of people taking pics of it. They'll surface somewhere I'm sure.

It's no exageration either. his front drive shaft was hanging down in the dirt with one of the transfer case gears attached to it. Several pieces of the front of the t-case where sitting on the rocks several feet away.

The case exploded! If you can imagine the whole front wd part of the case being gone. It was sweet though! Im sure someone has pics of it.
I think its dead, building a new ride. Im picking up a 93 mini, just waiting on my trailer. Ill try to take some pics for F.U.F.

Yeah I'd agree that exploded is a good way to decribe it. Especially, with all the shrapnel (gears, bearing, casing) flying through the air, people running, tires smoking. I'd have to say it was a good way to go out.
