Yeah we had a great time out there, I was good to meet some of you. First shot at a mud-pit and did pretty good. The place seemed a little scarce upon arrival but I guess he' just getting the place underway. Big thanks to Carl and his crew for letting us play and I'll see if Ican send pic's to Clyde or Shadetreezj to postup. In short, had a great time can't wait to bring the family back again...Maybe next time we'll get there sooner and see a few more people!!

I forgot how cool your ex-XJ was in a bizarre kinda way [when I was over there buying your chainsaw awhile back]. Yep CORE is a blast and since theres not a whole lot of obstacles for the medium-built guys like me, guess I need to get locked and armored. Does anyone know if Carl would allow folks to set up a grill at the rockpiles? I work up a mean appetite while 4x4'ing and since its an all day ticket - why not make a picnic out of it

Actually, there is a bunch of stuff for mild to medium rigs, and he's building even more.

Grills are welcome. At least I've seen them the last three times I was there.

I had a good time. There are alot of beginner to expert obstacles but of course it needs more. It has great potential to be the disneyland for four wheelers. I will go back this winter. This is great for the 4x4 community. Please go and check it out. :D

A few suggestions. I would like to see more dirt through the creek bed to crawl over along with the rocks already in place. A finnished loop through thier would be fun. More mid-level in the rock wall area. Naming the obstacles interesting wheeler names would be great. Put up signs with ratings. Maybe have companies sponsor obstacles with thier company names and logos on the signs. And for the hard one for the owner to hear, I think his name is carl (A very nice guy) is the price for me anyway should be $15, but that is in my perfect world. Like I mentioned earlier, I will return for more hard C.O.R.E.

THANK YOU FOR C.O.R.E. :hail:

Thanks, looks pretty sweet, I just wish I had known about it before the price of gas went thru the roof. Evans to Deertrail is a large fuel bill to pay another 20 to 35 bucks to get in.

Hey Clyde, can I send you some pics of Angrygoat and I so you can post them here? Let people see some other obstacles. I think the place is great for "learning" lines, and how to control your vehicle. There aren'y a lot of the pressures of a trail, you can go anywhere, play on anything, try it or go around it. Theres mud, rocks, hill climbs, obstacles courses, The chance to camp overnight, or just "picnic all day and watch some great vehicles. I actually thought about having a sticker made that says" I broke my $#!T @ core" (Ask me about my tie-rod!) ....

Yeah, the fuel bill is steep, but heading down there a couple times a year will help support Carl to keep the place open. It's well worth the trip.
