It has been brought to my attention that some users haven't received their passwords via email. This should occur within a few minutes of registration, but for some reason this doesn't work perfectly. Sometimes the user simply submitted an incorrect email address, but usually when this occurs the email just never made it to its destination for whatever reason. Never been able to pin that down. So, here's what we're gonna do this time. If you've already registered and haven't received your password then please contact me at ericruhl@yahoo.com From this moment forward I've suspended the email verification and all new members will choose their password when they register. This is more convenient for you and eliminates the possibility of a lost password email, but it does leave the door open for bogus registrations. We'll see how this goes, but if we start having problems with clowns and bogus registrations then we'll have no choice but to restore email verification. Again, if you've already registered and havent' received your password via email then contact me and I'll fix it for you. You do not need to re-register.
On a similar note, some of you may have noticed that the primary email contact ( webmaster@colorado4x4.org ) wasn't working. Until this gets resolved I've changed the contact to my personal address. My apologies to anyone who may have experienced registration problems and then got screwed by the dead email link. My mistake.

This reminds me of a website that I recently visited where your login was your email address. Below the login field there was a feature for lost passwords... all you had to do was provide your username and email address and they'd email you your login info LOL "Forgot your email address? Tell us what it is and we'll email it to you" :D So in tune with that mentality, if you haven't received your password then please reply to this thread hehe.
