Ahhh yes, you guys think we just forgot about this. That last year was a one shot deal? Oh, you were soooo wrong...

Since I was not trail lead, I'll let Deb (Princess) & Bonny (Rock Kitty) do the honors of posting the actual trip report. I was simply trail photographer Biatch. Here's the shot of us all...

We had a blast yesterday, despite the weather....and the rain....with no top on...at 35+ mph down the frontage road...with 4psi. :D

We had Bustin' Loose, Rock Kitty, Princess, Spacely, Rover Girl, Donya (Instigator), Rock Star, Mountain Angel, and yours truely on the run.

Mad props out to J from Twisted Digital Video for putting up with us all day yesterday!
And mad props out to Breadboy (Jeff) who did our shirts for us!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Jeff took our order and had them turned around to us in 4 days!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: and he did an AMAZING job!!!

....Until she smashed her finger between a couple of rocks we were moving to help get the unlocked rigs up. Hope it heals soon Deb since you smashed it hard enough to break it!! :eek: OUCH!!! - she was brave and went all day on the trail until she asked Donya to splint it.

Yesterday was great. The built rigs walked everything and all of the stockers now want to be built ASAP. Had to bring out the wench a couple of times and some other guys on the trail thought it was great watching a bunch a women "do it all".

It was a pretty nice day for the most part but did start misting when we got to the meadow and was flat out raining all of the way out. Most of us got wet and muddy. Rain + dirt = mud and add tires you get some pretty nasty muddy tire spray.

No one broke anything on their rigs and I'm not sure if body damage on a real live body counts but my little finger is the size of my thumb and hurts like hell, but I'm a tough "jeep chick" so I can take it.

Thanks for a great day ladies and can't wait to do it again next year.

No she means wenches. We renamed the first obstacle as wE nch hill since half of us had to be winched up. It was a blast. Thanks to all the girls for a great time and lots of tips and tricks. Thanks also to J and Jeff for the video coverage and the tee shirts.

I just ran Spring Creek a few weekends ago and I can't believe how much the Rock Garden has changed! Also It was nice seeing the tree (my arch nemesis) on the first obstacle where I blew an axle.

Ahhh...you've got that right. (the Britney Spears part) Sorry about that. We've been planning this for about two months. We try to get all the girls on the board and I'm not sure how we missed you. Just keep Me, Rock Kitty, Princess and YJGirl in you sights come summer time. Shoot us a PM or something and we'll make sure you get in on the next one.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU. Just got back from the doc and the X-ray showed a break above the first joint of my finger. I will be splinted for six weeks. :eek: Then I can look forward to the entire nail doing all sorts of disgusting things.


And Steve, I think this does qualify me as a real "jeep chick".

That is a simply BRILLIANT idea, the weather is ideal down this way from now till the end of Oct, and i know for sure carrie would take the YJ up 21 road if you guys went. There's tons of camping, i've got some room at my place and hotels are also cheap, like under $50 a night.

Val can elaborate, but here are the basic steps:

1. Get a nice YJ
2. Take it to Moab and roll it down Potato Salad Hill so it's destroyed
3. Rebuild it

That's about it. :D

The easier way to do it is find a YJ, cut the body off from the fire wall back, boat side it, chop the frame and extend it, 4-link the rear and put one hell of a roll cage in it that's Val-proof. :D ........and make sure you paint the axle, arms and belly skids hammerite GOLD!!! :bounce4: :bounce4: :bounce4: :bounce4:



On a side note: I managed to break the center pin off the passengers front leaf spring on the girls run....even lost the spring (but I think that might of happened on the way from Georgetown to the truck)!
