Installed the Aussie locker my D30. Very impressed with the simplicity of the install and the performance of the locker. When you put it into 4wd it acts more like a full locker. Very quiet when in 2wd not even noticable. Highly recommend it for a cheap and easy way to gain traction!!:)

I didn't know they made an LSD. Is it a spool type cause that's what I put in my D30 and it rocks! Now my Jeep goes everywhere!

Sorry for the semi-hijack, and same old question, but, how does the locker do in the front on slick roads? Do you engage 4wd or just go with 2wd? I am thinking about getting one of these and I am worried about it in a DD in the winter.
How about the install? Is it easy enough to put it in for the summer, and take it out for the winter? TIA

they're easy to learn to drive with, but they are also easy to take out.

i have a lockright in the front of mine, i don't use 4wd in the snow, steering is comprimised, and i think it does better not in 4wd than it does in just 2wd, i have better tires now, so this winter coming up may be different.
