BB upgraded, new Portal installed, Image Gallery is online, and two new forums

In the past few days I've made the following changes:
Upgraded our BB software to the latest version (3.0.7)
Created Product Review sub-forums in both the Gen 4x4 and Tow Rigs & Trailers forums. These are for sharing user reviews of products only, NO vendor reviews. Please read the rules posted in each forum before posting.
Changed out the front page (Home) portal software to something more flexible. Currently there is an issue using Mozilla, but I'm working on that (news block shows up blue).
I updated the navigation menu to include the "new" forums I had created in my last update
And last but not least, I installed a user image gallery that you can find here:
CO4x4 Member Galleries (http://www.colorado4x4.org/gallery)
The gallery are open for all to view, but only Premium Members (http://colorado4x4.org/vbb/announcement.php?f=11&announcementid=19) and Vendors may create galleries and upload files. You may create sub-galleries (categories) within your personal gallery which you have some controls over (My Stuff / Category Admin). You can make your categories private, allow visitors to comment on your images, or allow visitors to rate your images. Premium Members are limited to a total of 10 sub-categories and a total upload space of 20MB. NO PORN.

Your private gallery will be created automatically when you upload a file. Click "upload" to upload images to your main category, and use Mystuff/Category Admin to create sub-categories.

Finally I added a shortcut link below your username to your personal gallery. This appears for Premium Members and Vendors only, regardless of whether you have images in your gallery or not.

Nothing is easy though, I'm encountering an error when I try to upload a gif file. Back to the vendor for help...

I saw the product review section a few days ago and think it is a great idea :thumbsup:

One questionabout the user's gallery? It states in your gallery that there are 15 images per page but I did not see anything about how many pages. Not that anyone would have 100 pages but is there a limit?

No page limit that I'm aware of, only a total disk space limit (20MB per user). So I suppose if you had a bunch of small images in the same category and you view only 15 images per page you'll end up with a lot of pages :) You can create your own sub-categories (limit 10) to organize your files.

I had a lot of problems with ours. We were under a sub-domain and it was screwing with the cookies so you couldn't even stay logged into the Gallery. I finally got it moved to it's own domain and no more problems except for the minor bugs that come with a Release Canidate. Now I just need to go and upload a lot of the pictures we had in our old gallery!! In fact I need to upgrade to RC4. I saw that last night and meant to do it today but oh well. I like the vendor a lot. I looked at the portal that you were using at first then saw this one and went with it. Part of the reason was the gallery being developed at the time.

Maybe i'm estupid, but i can't figure out how to delete the images once i don't need them anymore; it doesn't seem like it's an option?

Click the image you wish to delete, then click "Image Tools" and select "Edit Image". Check the "Delete Image" checkbox and submit the change.
