Guys-
I just picked up a few four-wheelers for the kids and I and am looking for a place to take them riding over the Xmas break. We live in Loveland, and don't want to travel real far, and need something easy for my 13 and 9 year old to ride on. Is there anyplace open that does not have a lot of snow to get them started on the right foot? Trail riding in the hills is our preference. Is rampart a good fit for us? Ideas?

TIA

Rampart may be a little crazy for beginners. Not sure how much snow is up in these areas but Gordons Gulch would be my first pick for beginners that wont be to busy may even try Bunce. Both are off the Peak to Peak near Allenspark,Ward or may even the trails off Manhatten road up the Poudre Canyon..

Have you considered the Pawnee Grasslands OHV Area? Not too far from Loveland and usually snow is not a problem.

We decided to head up above sevenmile today. Hopefully there won't be too much snow for the kids.
