I first got my start with RC racing with touring cars then moved to off road. Well I saw some videos of the Tamiya F1 cars and had to get one. I am now addicted to on road. It is so much fun when you get in the groove and spin lap after lap hitting your line. Any other on road guys here?

A video from this weekend.

I guess I should get out my rare 2spd electric back out and start having fun again

I raced on-road for several years. Raced in the Tamiya Championship Series in several states. A friend of mine won nationals in F1 and took 3rd in the world in Japan, should have won. Pan cars were my favorite.

I am really liking the F1 it is a simple car and the chassis is very limiting in the motor it can handle. Makes for a class that is very dependent on the driver.

I would have to say when it comes down to it, I enjoy driving on road more than off road. Something about the simplicity of the track and really working on getting a good line and rhythm going.

I made this video of some clips from a few days of driving the F-104

You would be correct. That is the Carbondale High school.

Are you prepping the course at all? You seem to be getting very good traction.

No course prep. I did not even sweep it this time. In some of the on-board shots you can see the rocks getting kicked up by the front wing.
