From their website:

Cars and Coffee has changed their location to Club Auto in Lakewood (see picture below of facility). The address is 11100 W. 8th Ave Lakewood CO 80215. Our website is www.clubautocolorado.com. Our first Cars and Coffee will be on May 7th from 9am - noon. We will have breakfast/coffee availible from a cater along with our facility opened for everyone to see the cars on display.

 Much better than the marathon to Southofeverywhere Mall :D But Club Auto has some drama around it ...http://www.leftlanelife.com/rocky-mountain/9873-club-auto-you-joke.html

A few other AM GTGs have been happening through the winter (Lafayette and Arvada)

who leads up C&C, or the person in charge of finding appropriate locations? if the location is not in our best interest I have an idea to run past em. and I would agree with the marathon to "looks like kansas out here"

That would be me.

We moved to Club Auto because we were having issues with Southlands and Club Auto stepped up and offered us a space where we could continue to do the show without all the expenses we incurred in Aurora.

The first show is May 7th.

Hope to see everyone there.

Bill

Humorous post by Justin, Nightdriver. It's his forum so I guess he can post whatever he wants.

Justin got very irriatated at us because we wouldn't move to Club Auto when we first announced we were doing Cars and Coffee at Southlands Mall. At the time, his businesses were all located in Club Auto. I don't know the details, but they have since split. A little different tune since he is no longer there.

Jim and I decided to do C&C because we love cars and liked the concept. To date, we have spent several thousand dollars of our money doing the shows, and yet even in that thread, we were accused of trying to commercialize it. We moved it because quite frankly we were tried of spending our personal money to do a free car show.

All this drama just detracts from what we wanted---a nice place to show our cars on Saturday am. We are moving forward and hope this is our best season yet.

Over the last two years, we have had a lot of support from Colorado4x4 members and we hope for even more this year. Hopefully those that came had fun and enjoyed the cars.

Hopefully people will check it out for themselves. I personally like to know what I am walking into especially when the expectation is an easy going GTG.

I appreciate your efforts and hopefully this season is the best yet! I'll try and make it down at some point. I made it to Southlands once!

For sure, I think I missed you at Southlands because it was rainy that day.

I'll vouch for Bill and Jim being easy going car guys. They'll put on a good meet, whether in East Jesus (Southlands) or Club Auto.

It's always great to see CO4X4 people come to C&C.

I'm looking forward to this year, for sure. The proximity to the mountains may help me get the "C&C Organizers" <cough, cough, wink, wink> to do a little more driving after the meets.
