We are buying a Axias Scorpian to check out our under floor HVAC systems at work. We would like to put on a realtime webcam. Anyone have some personal experience on what may work for us. We have to be able to watch as we drive and be able to have some distance with fair reception..

i would imagine you could fit a much larger battery pack on a ground vehicle, which should allow for a stronger transmitter.

You'd want to use a 433 mhz control system for that if you need to go far.. dragonlink.com
For the video, the lower the frequency the better the obstacle penetration, I'd go with 900mhz but as mentioned you'll probably need to crank up the wattage. I've seen some very impressive distances, even to the basement of concrete/steel buildings on the r/c control side of things at 433, not quite sure how the video would ultimately work out.

Pick up a camera, transmitter and receiver, if it doesn't work out for ya maybe I'll buy it.
