Battlement Fab Grill Hoop and PSC Comp Stinger

I added a Battlement Fab grill hoop to my PSC Comp Stinger this weekend.

Extended the top tab on the stinger so I could weld the grill hoop to it rather than the frame. That way the entire unit will come off as one piece.

No one has ever told me what the logic is behind the huge stinger. Is it a Ramp? does it help with d-town traffic;) I understand the hood protection on a roll over but there are other ways to acomplish that. Being so long and raked it would be subject to bending in a hard hit as well. Just asking...

Hood protection and keeping from tipping forward on a steep decline. I just like the looks too, although I know most do not. Also it is great for bumping the guy in front of you right on his spare tire. ;)

I had the PSC comp stinger on my TJ and it rarely ever got in the way and never to the point where it didnt allow me to do anything. I thought about adding a grill hoop to it for a long time but never got around to it.

My one fear was hitting a car with it when I had that bumper, that would be bad news if you hit someone from the side.

I did recently hit a car with it. Slid on the ice and just tapped the rear window of an SUV in front of me at less than 2 mph. Window shattered.
