For my in-laws for their up coming cruise. My in-laws are homesteading pioneers and the newest technology they are used to is a disposable 35MM camers. Heck, they are still learning how their cell phones work after 3 years:D

So they want a small easy to use camera, and I have always like Cannon's and Wal-Mart has them for $129.00. A 4GB memory card is only $15. This is their price range. They do not have a computer to put them on, and we will use our lap-top so they can see the pics/order prints etc.

Is this Camera good to go for ease of use and quality pictures? They got to hold one in their hand and like the big screen with the big letters for the menu. My FIL likes that he can keep it in his shirt pocket. The down side seems to be the 4X optical zoom only. When we get to the 20X optical zoom ones, price jumps quite a bit.

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with Canon P&S's IMHO.

Doesn't look like www.dpreview.com has a review of this particular model

X2...especially given the price range. Should serve them just fine.

x3 - I'd look at more than a 4GB card though, or maybe 2.
