This is a TJ cage we did at Rock Rash at the end of last summer. It was done for a member of this board. The cage ran through the dash and everything works even the heater vents.

Heat vents work, cool (hot I mean), how about the defrost with that bar running there, or is it far enough away?

Yes the defrost works also. I'm not going to say to it works like factory but enough to keep the windshield clear. There is a gap between the windshield and the dash spreader. Its a give and take you get a little less defrost and can see out the windshield without having to dash spreader in your sight line.

Toby did a fantastic job cleaning up all the overspray, and a little bit of that yellow goes a LONG way! :D

The defrost works fine, it actually deflect a little bit more of the heat against the glass I think. That being said I rarely drive it in the cold.

And Toby does fantastic work! Top notch and fast too. When I first talked to him about what I wanted I showed him some pics and we sketched it out he made some great suggestions and voila! A cage that will out last the Jeep!
Thanks Toby, I know you've been patiently waiting for me to do a thread, but I suck at those!

There are a number of things that can change the pricing. Being custom built it all depends on your needs and wants. This cage does not have room for people in the back it also does not fit a factory style soft or hard top. I do make them fit tops if that is something needed we can also make room for rear passangers. It all in what you want as to what the cost is. The best way to get an est. is to come by the shop and discuss what is needed for your jeep. Thanks Toby Rock Rash Engineering 303-349-2120
