I heard they closed "The Proving Grounds".
Jeremy who owns BFE Films bought Upper Helldorado and the surronding 300 acres in an attempt to save it.
Now the taxes and payments are killing him. Jeremy's trying to keep this land a free place to wheel by asking for donations. Even though he hates to ask.
Do what you can to help save Upper Helldorado. Buy the BFE offroad video
"RELIANCE" or send a donation to BFE films.
He plans to make 8 or more new trails on this property. These will be the most insane trails in MOAB.
The first" Rock Race" of 2005 will be there during Easter jeep.

Where can the video be purchased? Where can donations be sent to?

I haven't heard that Proving Grounds was closed, but since it was never officially open I guess there wouldn't be much said about it.

I'm not at all surprised that he is now having financial problems. I had a feeling that something like this would happen, I just figured it would take a couple of years before the buyer realized that it was too much of a burden. The fact that it's become obvious in only 6 months is not a good omen at all.

Are you referring to Proving Grounds? It is on public land, was never an official OHV use area. Or are you referring to Upper Helldorado? It is on the land recently purchased and is not closed.

I'm sure most of you guys read at least one 4x4 mag., but here is the info from Peterson's4wheel: There were 320 acres purchased that includes upper helldo, if you want to help contact BFE at the following: email jeremy@bfefilms.net, and visit the websites www.areabfe.com and www.bfefilms.net

Reliance is a sweet video I've had it for about 5 months!!

Jeremy Parriot or Area BFE 1831 S Hwy 191
Moab, Utah 84532

Proving grounds is not on Jeremy's land. Upper Helldorado is. The taxes are around $20000. That's a $20 bill for 1000 people That should be easy enough.
If you don't want to send something for nothing ( if you consider Upper nothing) then buy the video that will help also.
Also Raven Racing is planning on building a tube chassis to raffle for the cause. We may not start the raffle till easter jeep 2005.
