So, last March I think it was, I ordered Iron Scorpion's front winch bumper kit with unibody reinforcements for my XJ. Took me five months and three different guys to find to weld it together for me (fark if I ever buy anything again that needs welded-anything from here on out is getting bolted on or ain't getting put on. Period). BUT-once I found someone to weld it, it went together flawlessly, except for our welding skills, but hey, we ain't putting submarines together. Anyway, got it rattle-canned last week, and mounted up the bumper and new winch yesterday. Real slick looking bumper- I love it. Also, hell if I can remember his name, but the guy at Iron Scorpion was super helpful and his wife even met us halfway in Loveland so we could pick up the bumper kit, and on the heels of a blizzard coming in, no less. Anyway, great product, and great customer service. Two thumbs up.:thumbsup::beer::hail:

Yeah, the plate needs to come off. I think they just changed the law to where you don't need a front one anymore, didn't they?

Hmm??? Looks like they did eliminate the need for a front plate. Cool!

BTW: Nice bumper. I like how low profile it is.

CO General Assembly website says it was tabled indefinitely and never had a 3rd reading. Therefore it could not have been signed by the Governor on 6/4.

I let bigdaves wifey weld mine together... and its been used as an anchor, recovery point, skidplate, beer holder, stepstool, and pretty much anything else you can imagine.

I'd say i'm pretty happy with Iron Scorpion. Oh, and it's Chip (the owners name) and they did the same for me, meeting me, on a holiday weekend.
