Some of you may remember I started work on a R/C scale model of a Snow cat. After a month or so break I have been putting some time in the shop. I actually have something that is starting to resemble a snowcat. I just hope to have it up and running when the snow gets here.

Here are some of the newest pictures.

This is how the main chassis looks with the blade infront of it.

The blade is completely attached now.

I have made a little progress since this point. Mostly just working on the controls for the blade movement.

It is amazing how much time fabing all the little parts take. At least I have a lot of pictures of a full size cat to reference.

I have a build thread over on www.scale4x4rc.org that has pictures from the very beginning. http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=32731

A little paint makes all the difference.

Does it mean I am a slow worker when a thread about a project gets locked before you can update it??

I found myself back at the work bench the past few days. The snow cat is starting to look like a snow cat now.

The tracks are taking shape. I think they are going to require the most patience. A total of close to 1200 tiny screws and nuts will be used to build the tracks.

Very awesome build :drool::beer:

The attention to detail on this is amazing, right down to the way the tracks are put together....can't wait to see the final product!:cool:

How are you making the grousers?

It is starting to look like I might finish this thing. I changed up how I am going to power the tracks. One of the tracks is now functional.
