September 11th Track day donation.

A lot of you remember this last year. We had over 60 cars come out for an open track day with door prizes, news coverage, and just overall fun. We donated a little over $3K to a local soldier that had some financial problems.

This year we are going to try and double that donation with some help from all of you! Our soldier this year is coming back from 3 tours in Iraq with a very badly injured leg after a grenade explosion. After 59 surgeries, he will undergo one more to amputate it. The money raised will help this guy get his house handicap accessible. He is supported by a wife and 3 year old daughter.

We have a suggested donation of $100 per car. This also means you can pay what you can afford for the track day, whether it be $20 or $5,000 to help this guy out. This is only about helping this soldier, not for profit. We need you to register at the Faasst website and you can decide to pay at the gate or pre-pay online.

All newbies to the track will need to go through the track walk/ safety orientation the morning of with Judy or myself. You must be there at 7AM.

• Name of the soldier is Staff Sgt (SSG) Charles Pannell and check donations need to be made out directly to him.

• Bikes are allowed (will run in different sessions)
