Available in Grand Junction:
need at least 4 to sign up, would prefer as many as possible, it gets cheaper for everyone.
Details:
$125 per person for 6 or more. 150$ per person for less than that.
One Day class
Class is a full 10 hour day. Handgun and ammo can be provided if you dont have any.
Date for this class is open right now, but will be on a saturday or sunday.
I need to know who would like to attend, and I will set it up. It could end up at my house if the group is small, or in town if its larger.
A one day class is nice, get in, get it done, and get your permit.
Post up if you are interested.
IM NOT PUTTING THIS ON, an instructor in GJ is, and Im looking to help out folks on the board in GJ who are having trouble finding an open class.

damn 125 dollars?
what are the requirements for the class in CO? been a while and I forgot.
Basic pistol via NRA course should not be that damn expensive.

It's much more than a basic NRA pistol class to get your CCW here.
I did the one (long) day class instead of several evenings. Much better that way IMO.

You can get your CCW, here in Colorado for much less than a 10 hour course. A friend of mine got his in one night, one 4 hour class thru RMGO. Price was $75 for Members of RMGO and $100 for non members. So $125 for a 10 hour class is a pretty good deal.

I did the RMGO 4 hour course as well. If it was 8-12am on a sat or sun, it would have been a whole lot easier than 6-10pm on a Tuesday. Paid $150 for my wife and I. Don't know what you would actually do for 10 hours to be honest. Of course if there's six hours of shooting/tactics it might be cool.

I took the 4 hr class on a Tues. and I really wish I would have taken a longer class.
I would have like to learn more about day to day carrying.
I think the 4 hour class for $145.00 is a disservice.
