Does anybody know of a place around town to pick up some full size 1911 grips. I recently aquired one and it came with Hogue grips and i would rather have regular wood grips or maybe some slim grips.
I have already called: Gunsmoke, Bass Pro, Gander, 5280 armoury...
Thanks

If you don't have any luck around town...this guy makes some beautiful grips.

Hmmm....good question as I was wondering the same. Not a big fan of the smooth wood grips on there now.

CDNN usually has a nice selection of grips. I prefer the old Colt style double diamonds myself.

Here are a few that I have used and liked.

I'm not sure where to find any grips locally. The only wood grips I ever really liked that weren't custom are Springfield's.

Go here for a metric buttload of info on 1911 grips.
