I guess I'm the only one that posts in here... oh well.

Here's the trip I had at the end of May. It's a lengthy read, but if you have a hour and a beer or two you may enjoy it.:beer:

LOL, if you read the report you'll see I was in mud up to my rear swing arm with little options.

It was more of a "WTF did I expect" pic. :D

Matt, WOW just read that whole thing... almost makes me want to sell the jeep and buy a dakar... what an adventure!

I go 4-wheeling for the adventure feeling, so that really hits home...

Bravo, and the GF pics at the end really take the cake!

I think a lot of the guys here have dreams of doing a trip like that, but dont have the balls to actually do it....

I have lots of respect for people who go out and DO things like that...

Wow, man I finally had the time to read your whole trip report. That is an amazing trip, quite an endeavor.

that was 1 hour of my life I don't feel I wasted at all....

I fall into PhantomD's described category. I would love to do something like that, live for that type of trip. probably don't have the balls to go it solo though.

Thanks guys.

As with everything, the hardest part is to curb the excuses and just do it. I was skeptical at first but then it becomes fun, and fun it addicting! :D

Cool trip report. I use to have a XR600 and do some rides off road myself back in the late 90`s.
I did the rainbow trail, 50 miles of single track, then about 50 miles of paved road to get back to my camp. The Rainbow trail is about 100 miles long, you should ride it it is a fun trail.
I might be getting an XR650 next year, and start ridng again.
