For Scotty a GTR getting the Hennessey work over. Dave said the 2nd gen launch control is better suited to modified set-ups.

Cant really see the turbos here but that is definatly not the stock intake ducting for a Ford GT.

That one has the 502 and the other one in the album with the walls is leather bucket and a 383.

You noticed that although you can't see the twin turbos on that GT, the friggin' SUPERCHARGER is still on the motor. :eek::eek: Right there on top, stock blower (Maggie).

DAY-UM!!!!! :drool::drool::drool:

I've heard of turbos piggybacked on a blower, but never actually seen one.

I can't imagine the kind of power that makes.

Went to Hennessey today and saw Dave. Their new thing is Camaros. Take a stock Camaro, tear the motor out, put in a warmed over LS9 (ZR1 motor), dump the stock suspension, put in coilovers, huge Brembos, the whole deal.

They make over 700hp. Shop bought 22 Camaros, have sold 20, at around 120K each.

Dave took me out to their track in his CTS-V. Again, around 700 horse. Holy cats, it was awesome. NEED to get the wife to agree to driving a Hennessey prepped CTS-V for her next car.

That shop was amazing. What a great afternoon.

Oh, forgot to add- that twin turbo/supercharged Ford GT was in their showroom still. Makes over 1,000HP. Dave drove it to 235mph, said it was dead stable. Nice.

What kind of rental did you drive to Sealy? Some parts of the freeway from Houston out there are just built for high speed runs.


BTW spill the beans what did Dave do to get the LeMons penalty?

Biggest POS rental of all time. Chrysler Sebring. Seriously, that car was a complete pile of manure.

2000 lap penalty for the turbo setup on the LeMons car. It was fairly badass. There's this total chitbox of a car, and this killer turbo setup on it. Chromed out, the whole nine.

I can see how it wasn't entirely within the spirit of the LeMons deal. One team apparently had an old BMW and had transplanted an M3 motor into it.

I've always said I wanted a Pantera for my collection, but I might have to add a GT to the list.
