I had my first adventure!!! It was a bit windy and a bit cold above 10k feet, but it was a great time for $7 in gas! 3 passes - Loveland/Hoosier/Kenosha and 286 miles of joy. I also made a detour to Wheeler Lake outside of Alma to get a little dirt on the tires.

Ya, I learned a lot. The really windy parts were Loveland Pass and just outside of Jefferson on 285, i'd say gusting to almost 40 mph. It was so cold on Loveland pass that my camera quit working. (The summer jacket I had didn't do much).

Sweet!

I'll be taking the Scrambler out this weekend. Supposed to be crappy on Saturday but I'm riding, rain or shine.

Triumph Club is riding to Salida, I won't go all the way there with them but I may ride as far as Canon City and then come back via 115 and CO Springs.

If I'm feeling really froggy I might take 67 from Deckers to Sedalia to work on my dirt riding skillz. :D

My commute is over Hoosier. Mornings even in Summer are a wee bit nippy.

That looks fun! When did you pick up the bike?

I bought it last Nov and it's nice to finally ride and not freeze. I rode it about 1300 miles this winter and I quickly learned that once you get cold, it's hard to warm up.
