Looking for something early seventies, late sixties. Want an additional summer project to start. Tried looking on craigslist with no luck. Just want to try and get a junker running really.

There's an auto trader for classic cars as well as Hemmings possibly.

"Classic" is pretty vague though. Do you not really have anything specific in mind?

If your going after American muscle, avoid major metro areas. Head to Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, northern TX, Missouri, etc..... Cheaper deal to be had.

There is a hot rod place up here in Loveland that has a bunch of old iron in their storage area, not sure what the status is:

Place is called "Scotty's Hot Rods", they are having a grand opening next weekend, Sat the 18th from 10am-5pm, address is 5717 Byrd Drive, Loveland CO. Phone number is (970) 203-1957. Guy said they are expecting a lot of muscle cars to show up for the grand opening, and they have a lot in storage, etc. I dunno much about them other than that they always have really gorgeous cars parked out front!

(sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, it's all I had with me!)

ebay.....can't believe the low $$$ cars are selling for these days. Good time to be a buyer.

I've bought and sold via ebay. Never regretted it. Most people assume transporting a car is too expensive, but you can pretty much go cross country for $800.00.

Cars of mine that I might consider selling (all posted in the cars of 4x4 thread):
1990 Towncar - $1000.00
1969 Ranchero - $3500.00
1968 Monterey - $4500.00
