Haven't posted for a long time. I've been very busy with work for the past year, so haven't had much time for the jeep. Its been slow lately, so started back on the jeep.

I cut the rear fender wells and bent up some 3.5" fender flares. I then decided to get rid of the stock tire carrier and fabbed up a stinger type carrier. I'm not quite done with the carrier yet, I'll be adding a little plate, installing some spot lights and making a mount for the High Lift and a CB antenna. Right now I have a 35" tire mounted up, but I made the carrier large enough to fit a 42" tire.

Still have alot to do on the jeep. I'll be running the stock axles for now, but will be on the look out for some one tons (will be four-linking the rear). I still need to build the front shock hoops, then I'll be blasting and painting it (finally, I've had enough jokes about the pink jeep :p)

Well, here are a couple of pics:

Thanks. I have another seat and will be installing a fold and tumble seat in the back, but they are both out. I just have the driver seat in so that I can move it around when I'm building on it. It will be stripped and blasted/painted in a few weeks, then fully assembled with all the seats :)

Added the high lift mount.

You gonna paint or protect the tire carrier and fenders? The cage looks like it needs quite a bit of WD-40.

Did you stiffen the tub at all where the top mounts bolt to it?

I'll be sandblasting and painting the whole jeep within a month. I own a sandblasting and painting company, but you know how the saying goes, a mechanics car is always broken, ;) It will be Metallic Bronze and the tube work will all be black.

The top mounts are tied into the cage, but can be unbolted to remove either the cage or tire carrier if need be.
