Seems that i have been doing a lot of weekend racing lately... Well, ok... that and riding my new HD Deluxe as well in between not racing on the Track. Since the OMRRA serries has finally come to an end, this is what I have been doing in the mean time...

Having fun practicing my "Take Offs" to improve my first courner whole shot off the line up grid on the track.
I have been dialing my 1/4 mile times in at an average 11.0 - 11.2 and very consistant, however my launch in the 1st 60' have been at most a one tire jump all through 1-3 gears and carrying at most down the track past all the grand stands.
My off line "Light" starts have been at most best and at mark. I've hit two perfect signals .000, but at most my signal "Green" have been .004 to .234... It's just not only in my reaction time, The big jump is in my jump off the line in my 1st 60'.
The more I improve in this, the better over all time I will receive.
Two weeks ago I finally did a few adjustments to the bike.
1) Adjusted the chain tension.
2) Lowered the front end of the bike.
and so on and so forth.
Ontop of my reaction times, I have greatly increased my 60' footers off the line. I've consistantly hit "Finally" in the 10's on the quarter mile.
10.76,10.87, 10.90, 10.97. Not too terribly shabby.
Mind you it's a stock GSXR 750 and have been racing against 1k bikes and some busa's. But granted it relies all on the individual rider!
For Example:
I've hit a reaction time of .096 and a 60' at 1.97sec. bringing the 1/8 mile consistant to a 7.22 at 106mph and a 10.97 1/4 mile at a top speed of 129.58.
I've obviously have been doing better but have a lot to improve on. My top speed is there, however it's all in my reaction time and the 1st 60' footer that I will gain a better 1/8 "ET" and 1/4 mile gaining ground in the 10's 1/4 mile. Not sure how much more I can still push it utnil I can't improve any longer?
On the "ET' 1/8th mile challenges I dialed and marked my bike safely in an estimate of 7.26 and hoping I didn't over dial my self in. Needless to say, most of my runs have been within that range and very consistant.
My pre-runs were consistant between 7.1 - 7.3, obviously not my best but consistant. So I tagged an "ET" of 7.26 for which i thought and assumed would be a safe bet....
I was marked in my "ET" catagory group of racers, most of whom where old school Harley guys with flat slicks and wheely bars whom also where well know at the track. And amungst a few other sporties.
My first couple of runs durring the challenge where respectable running 7.28, 7.34 at most and was able to beat out my first 3 rivals. Then comes the older HD racing vetran. We nodded to each other for good luck and then staged.... Well, adrenilen running high and staying focused, I was soon after eliminated... Grrrrrrr,,, He just hitting over his mark "ET" time and me under my marked "ET". I ran a 6.978 in the 1/8 at again a 106mph.
Not too shabby. The vetran came over after that run congradualating me on a great run. He then stated how much better I'd do if I had a wheelie bar on back! LOL
Now the wheels are turning! It's another rush beyond the Track!
