My last day off w/ out working one job or the other was on 6/22, Currently that's a 19 day stretch. Before that I have a day off and had worked the two weeks prior.
My next day off is unkown but will be sometime after 7/20, if I'm lucky... I don't currently have my schedule for my one job, and the other is every weekend until 8/3.
Usually I work M-F 30-40 hours at one, and then 25-30 hrs plus on the weekends at the other. So I maybe in the middle of a 2 month marathon. Woot!!!
Has anyone seen the movie Ground Hog Day?

I'm at a solid 5 days here. I haven't worked a Saturday or Sunday in over 5 years, and I like it that way :flipoff2:

M-F here. One or two Saturdays a year for trade shows.
When M-F gets too much, mid week golf heals all that ails me.

Still got in 2 rounds this week though. :D M-F is Bartending and Managing a restaurant on Pearl St, so lot's of nights there, and the work is C-A-K-E most of the time anyway. Which is nice, for a M-F gig. Some days are short, for instance today I only worked 4.5 hours at the restaurant, but have to drive to up to Keystone in a few here and set up for the Blues and Arts Festival, which w/ travel time will be another 5-6 hrs.
Then weekends are outdoors but w/ fair share of a good 6-8 hours of physical labor mixed in.

In reality, think my worse stretch was 37 days straight. Between my old gig and part time at the bar.

I met your boss over the last weekend. Some guy at the art festival was selling sat imagery. How this is "art" I really don't know.
I was mentioning to the girl next to me that I was curious what my buddies at Geo Eye would think.
A guy walks up and asks me something along the lines of "me too, who do you know at Geo Eye"
Turned out to be Brad your boss type person, he asked me who I knew etc,
I told him you never stopped bitching about that place :flipoff2: :D j/k

When young and dumb and full of err..... energy, I worked a 60 day strait stint one summer to help pay for school. Painting dorm rooms M-F and exterior of houses on the weekends. I made a boatload of cash for a student, but was hating life. Good luck to you and take care of yourself.

Earlier this year I had 65 days straight of 10-16hrs per day. Big DOD contract that had to be out within a certain time. After I was done, I swore I would never work more than 14 days straight. Too much of a headache. Good luck with keeping your energy up, toward the end I was relying heavily on caffeine and nicotine, trust me, not the way to go...
Good luck:beer:

Back in the day as a ski rep- we'd report to work early Aug, and no kidding- less than 5 days off until end of April.
Now there were "work" skiing days, but LONG hours, everyday.
Had one retailer in Aspen who would only carry our line of skis if I showed up and did a demo day on X-mas day each year.
Great job, but a young man's game, for sure. Up before dawn every day, back long after dark, repeat 7 days per week.

Totally, my stress level is pretty low right now which helps. Neither job has that high of stress, the restaurant I can leave at the door when I walk out.
The other job is my father and I's side business selling photography, so that one is pretty chill. Especially when I'm on my own, basically I'm my own boss so that's nice. Just have to abide by whatever festival hours etc, then I do my own thing.
I'm looking forward to taking 10 or so days off come fall and laying on a nice warm beach somewhere w/ a girl. :D

That's what I thought too, then I realized there was too much to do around the house. It is amazing how f'ed things can get when you are only physically at your house an average of 4 hrs a day, and 3.5 of those your sleeping.

Thanks, that definetly helps out a lot in the fact business on that front has been good. Which makes the shows go faster, and I actually make $.
The site is my responsibility too, and I my laptop just crashed, so all that has to come from home now.
The site needs a good week of work in itself as it's not totally complete or how I want it to be right now. Hopefully I'lll squeeze that in here soon too.

Right? Sometimes I'm happy to have a condo, no hassle w/ the yard. Now my absentee brother who has a house in North Boulder that's another story... Cuz that chit has defaulted to me. :D
At 1st his yard was dying so it looked like crap (which I know would have been laid on me), so I fixed the sprinlkler system, and now I have to mow the fawking thing.

Yup, I figure I'll get some rest when I die. W/ the side business it's mostly summer income so if I don't strike while the iron is hot, it's not gonna do chit. If I wasn't working I'd just be out partying or spending money anyways.

Off to the mtns, back early monday for worky. I think I'm gonna camp this weekend up near Keystone, got my gear all packet etc. Way cheaper then driving all 3 days back and forth from boulder, and no $150 dollar hotel room.
Maybe try to sneak into a hotel pool or something just for giggles later. :D

Used to work 6 days a week, 24 hrs/day, at a summer camp (BSA) as a boat driver and lifeguard. Long days but will probably go down as the best job.
Along with GeoEye I valet part time so I have has a few 6 day weeks but no 7's.

I've had it good now for 2 years! The job prior to this, whole other story. . . I did a stretch of 4 months straight 7 days a week at 80+ hours a week. We drove from TX to OR by way of NM, AZ, and CA stopping and doing work in towns along the way. Talk about burned out!!!!

Onto day, um I forget... :D
Back from the Summit late last night, have a business appt in Denver at 11, then off to work back in Boulder at 12:30 to 11:00 or so.
I camped out near State Bridge about 40 min out of the Summit, it was really tight. No milfs or pools though. :(
I was really surprised by how far the Pine Beetles have moved, and how bad the damage to the forest is up there. Pretty much has moved all the way into the Summit from Steamboat, Seems like 60-70% of the pines are brown. Bad news for up there fo sho.

Didn't know McStiff and I had the same job... curious to know which camp :D
Worst I think was the summer of 2004- worked 120 hrs/week and was enrolled in 18 credit hours. I don't think i took a day off, nor got more then 3 hours of sleep the entire three months.
Now? Depends. I've done 30 day straight streches, I'm on a 5 week binge right now, but I have 3 days off in the middle which makes it tolerable.

It's depressing looking at my truck, most wheeling it's got this season is dropping the dogs off and going down a dirt road. On the flip side it gets great gas milage just sitting there.

Woo hoo, didn't have to work a double it turned out. So just have to work the night closing shift.
Found a great hook up in Denver for work I contract out for my photo gig, I cut the cost on one of our best selling products from $85 down to $25 so I did get some work done today already. Plus now if everything works out I get to tell the other dude to piss off or take a %60 cut. :D
Points baby, I want to talk points!

onto #34 tomorrow up in the mountains. 5 hours to sleep and then out the door to work a 13-15 hour day at least tomorrow, then 10-12 each on sat and sun. Back to work a possible double Monday in Boulder, and def working Monday night.
I'm a walking zombie right now, but on the good side one day blends into another, and it's going by quick. I think....
One thing I've noticed, my fuse with kids sitting on the street asking me for money is very, very short right now. Which imo a great time. :flipoff2: :D
Oh, and I saw a short but sweet bum fight on Pearl Street while managing the restaurant the other night.
