TONIC and I have two tickets to in the TOP ELIMINATOR CLUB! ---not sure what that means but it sounds waaaayyyy cool.

Also-a friend of mine from up north has been invited down to run a few passes with their glass bodied '57 Chevy. I guess it runs low 8's or something like that.

Pinks All Out is basically run what ya brung event that is whittled down to bracket race. Then the driver's race each other but can't break out of their times. Winner gets $10,000.00 and tools and stuff. Pinks started out as two guys/girls racing against each other and the winner would win the others car. In some cases the cars were worth a lot of money. Not sure why that would be :rainbow: but everybody has an opinion about everything.

dude.

I threw bigger injectors (30lb), bigger MAF and bumped up to a 150 shot of NOS from 100. only gained about 30 horses overall to the ground :(

Needs another round of tuning.

'Tis also on Speed Channel all the time. The regular show is like a soap opera/reality show with all the arguing and shiat, but in All Out, they match drivers up by times and there is no negotiation.

What's the current duty cycle on the 30lb'ers? With that kind of power, I'd think you'd be maxing them out. Don't you want them under 85%?

Hey- if you need a shop beotch to hand you tools, you know where to find me. Glad to help.

I was running the 24's at 95% duty cycle, shockingly they weren't dead, but with only 2,200 race miles on the motor, they still had SOME life left..

The 30's are only at about 70% currently.

Saw that show once,
When I was growing up racing for pinks meant you both start at same time and whoever crosses finish first wins the other car. They should have called the show "brackets"

"Do you admit you were outperformed by that motorcycle?"

I wanted to enter my Jeep soo bad. However it was not to be, Error 404 ticket not found. I doubt I'll even go watch if I can't race. Anybody hear Willie B talking about all the guys that got tickets with no idea what they were getting into, and have been cluelessly hitting up speed shops to get their junk fast enough?

I'll be there... And although Rich [The host on SPEED] is a tool, it is generally a good show. The concept is what really grabbed my attention from the begining.

Just going to be there on Saturday for eliminations

I don't know why everyone is dogging the host Rich..??? The guy came up with this concept. He's admitted that he isn't a "real" racer but liked the idea of the show and thought it would be a good way of promoting race tracks and not racing on the street. This is bad because???? Also-when he crashed the motorcycle he could have told them not to air that little scene. But instead chose to show it to let people know to always be careful on bikes. He has had to jump out of the way a few times when things went wrong on the starting line. I don't get it. The show is popular for a reason and he was the one that brought it to fruition? Is the bashing a jealously thing?

Is the bashing a jealously thing?

hardly.

he stands in front of redneck drivers with more car than they can handle punching it when he drops his arms. that is just not safe and very stupid.

How a driver can actually think he outperformed the other when he was given 5 to 10 carlengths headstart and the other had to turn off his nitrous is beyond me.

I think the idea behind the show is awesome. the application is lacking

So I was watching this last night of and on; do they just pick a time class once everyone runs qualifying passes?

I think it would be fun to show up with something imported (Can you say 1000hp Audi 4000?).

Put like builds with like builds.....

I have done ONE test and tune so far w/ the Mustang...... I was pitted up against 16 second cars the entire night (4 passes).

Guys wondering why I'm smoking them, well only 300HP.... what do you expect

It's going to be a total wash...... Cars left and right loosing a second or more of time due to the thinner air.

Yup, they pick what they think would be the more entertaining class, i.e. closer races. I have seen them pick 11's, and even a low 9 class.

There have been some civics and other imports on the show before that did well.

No not jealousy. The dude is an obnoxious idiot... I admit I like watching the drag racing but turn it when he is on. maybe a motor will detonate and he'll take a burning hot exhaust valve in the nuts.

Agreed. I think the idea is great - and if Rich came up with it that's great, I'm just not the biggest fan of him.
