1995 Ford Explorer, 6cyl...plugs on the drivers side easy enough to get to, but the plugs on the pass side seem to be a PITA to get to. Any secrets to making this a bit easier?

Also, anyone know Ford trannies and willing to help diagnose a problem?

Rear two on a 4.0, go through the wheel well, carefully. Front one is the suck due to the A/C if I remember right, gotta do it from the top, lots of 3/8 extensions and swivels.

Trannies.... not sure on which one is behind it, but I do know most are problematic of the era...

Well that doesnt sound fun at all. I now remember why I don't offer to help people with their cars...oh well, tomorrow should be fun.

Tranny: she was told it has no second gear. I haven't driven it, but I am clueless on tranny anything so any help is appreciated. If someone has the know how and is willing to look at it she can pay you for your time.

Yup, but I have found that it is just as quick & easier to just pull the belt & the four bolts on the compressor & throw it out of the way.
