Went motorcycle drag racing this evening fir the first time & didn't do too bad for a drag racing newb. It's a blast!

Pretty much a leather jacket, gloves, boots, decent tires, and a Snell rated helmet. You'll need full leathers if you run over 120 mph.

Yup...and youll pretty much get 1 warning then get kicked off the track if you dont...ask me how i know... :flipoff2:

My fastest was 10.17 139 mph on my CBR1000RR, this was my 3rd time to the track with about 8 passes under my belt total....the one that got me kicked out before i knew about the leathers was high 10's...10.89, 129ish if i remember correctly.

I have run 7.40 @ 183 on a highly modified GSX-R 1000. But you have to get a NHRA License to do that.

12.2X @ 112 on an 05 Speed Triple. My launches are garbage (I'm maybe giving it half throttle through first). With a fresh tune & practice, I should be good for somewhere in the 11's.

I'm totally addicted.

Yeah Its a trip, The only down side is, I made it look easy to ride and now the owner of the bike drives it. No more fun for me unless he is having problems.

Is that the Club Clash? I'm nowhere near being able to predict an ET. I'll probably be at test & tune next Wednesday.

some are club clash and the other nights are fri night et series

car most of the time took my truck up once. I have yet to race the bike
