We dicided to go to Eleven Mile State Park for some camping, canoeing and fishing. This will be our first time in our Pop Up Camper. I bought it a couple weeks ago. I made a lot of steering changes to the my WJ like flipping the tie rod and put in all new ball joints so I wanted something close just in case I fubard somethig up. It is still a 70 mile trip but not too bad.
I have not been to Eleven Mile since I was about 17 years old. I was able to reserve a nice site off near the rocks and trees.
Anyone camp there recently? I am just wondering what you thought of it.
By the way I was told by the Colorado State Park Ranger that this weekend is a free fishing weekend in Colorado State Parks. No license needed this weekend. I have one anyway but I thought you all would like to know.
