I'm thinking about coming out Memorial Day Weekend to Winter Park. Is there any trails open in the area and is anybody doing any wheeling, thanks.

Unfortunately this has been a heavy snow year and there's not much open anywhere. Not a thing close to Winter Park that I know of. There's a couple places further away.

You could try the muddy creek trail that is off of CR 3 (parshall) that goes up to Church Park but it will be a mess, or Parshall Divide above byers canyon could be fun.

Or even try to go up on Williams Peak trail off Highway 9.

Trough or Sidewinder are the closest that I can think of but I'm not sure whether they are open yet. And, they are probably 50+ miles away.

I just got back from the winter park area. There are no trails open what so ever. West Rollins still has the gate closed, Vasquez gets plowed to the water treatment plant and it is super muddy to that point, but then where they stopped plowing it will not be passable for a while. Even Stillwater Pass near Grand Lake is closed still. Tons and tons of snow!!
