How to watermark?

How do I watermark photos? The only software I have is picture project and macromedia fireworks/flash. Any help much appreciated!

I'm not sure how it works with your software, but can you put text on your images?

In Photoshop, you can create a text layer and lower the opacity so it blends in better with your pic.
