I am SO excited, crossed off another newspaper credit. I shot State for the Loveland Reporter Herald, had 5 images in Saturday mornings paper including 2 color photos on the cover of the sports section THEN I had the COVER of the paper onSunday morning!!! Woo hoo A1 color photo as well as 6 others in the sports section, 3 of those in color on the cover!

I am well on my way to my goal of being published in every Colorado paper. So excited. A1 on a big daily rag, just had to share with those who know. Sweeeeet.

There were a few more, and I added the pole vault and the coach shot, they didn't actually run. It was a CRAZY two days. Alot of fun though, I love going to stuff like this and seeing all the shooters I know. FUN.

Mostly a 70-200 2.8 with the 2x extender and a 17-55 2.8 for the close ups.

Just got the the wide zoom and LOVE it. It was super bright so the extenders diminished aperture wasn't even a consideration.

Yes it is heavy, but it makes such pretty pictures. I definitely don't carry it unless I need to. I know I have wished I had it with me several times, but that's the way it is I guess.

So are you getting the 5D? I was thinking about getting it for the full frame, but I like my 20D and 30D so much I think I'm gonna stick with this series. They do everything I need them to anyway. And with the extra battery pack I can go light or all out heavy if I need to use the verticle grip alot like at sports.
