View Full Version : Cutting Masher tires...

Anybody done it? I'm running the Mashers on my scorpian & like how they work for the most part but due to the tractor tread design, they don't hold sidehills real well so I 'm thinking about cutting the treads to give them more bite as far as sliding sideways.

Decided to go ahead & try it. I'm cutting chunks out of each long tread & siping the middle treads. My fingers hurt & I only have one completed so far. This is going to require more beer than I have in the fridge.

Here are before & after pics of one of them. You can see how I cut them but the sipes put in the center treads aren't visible. It took a while & now my fingers hurt. Hope it wasn't a complete waste of time.

fawk they make everything else for those damn things, they don't make a tire groover? My hat is off to you, my add would have kicked in after hald a tire!

I run Panthers on my stadium truck they got to much traction. They keep breaking loose even glued on
