...is to make you want to run right out and get another dog. Thank you Retriever Rescue of the Rockies. Here's the new pup:

Update video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_nfAjLoNZo) of her, her mom, and the rest of the litter. They called them the London Underground puppies b/c all are named after tube stops in London. She is Picadilly for now. we are considering a new, shorter name.

She's the one front and center (I think):

The rest of the pictures are here (http://picasaweb.google.com/alstine/Picadilly). We leave for Moab Saturday and she will be ready to join us as soon as we return.

Good for you! I think 'Dilly would be a nice shortening of the original name. Not that you'll ever forget dogs (friends) gone by, but there is nothing like giving a home to a puppy to help ease the transition.

Good job and what a cool story!!

We had two rescue litters last year ourselves for a total of 11 puppies. I thought I was gonna croak.

Congrats on your new baby!!
