3 accused of using corpse head to smoke pot

Two men and a juvenile are accused of digging up a corpse, decapitating the body and using the head to smoke marijuana, according to court documents.
Matthew Gonzalez and Kevin Jones have been charged with the misdemeanor offense of abuse of a corpse, said Scott Durfee, a spokesman for the Harris County District Attorneys Office.
According to documents filed in the case, Gonzalez, Jones and an unnamed juvenile on March 15 went to an Humble cemetery, dug up a man's grave, left with the head and turned it into a "bong."
Gonzalez told authorities about the incident Wednesday, and showed officers the defaced grave, including a 4-foot hole. Because of a heavy rain, officers were unable to determine whether the casket or the body had been disturbed.

I'm trying to figure out how this worked, I can't imagine a skull would make a good bong. Pot heads are usually pretty lazy too.

One thing that bothers me is why do the authorities want to find out more information about the boy and his family? I mean, re bury the body, give it a new headstone and call it good. The family does NOT need to be informed of what had happened.

And yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how that would work...thats one unique bong.

I don't think the immediate family is still around to be upset. The last report I heard was that the skull was from an 11 year old boy who died in 1922.
They said the stoners removed the lower jaw bone and used lots of electrical and duct tape to construct the "water pipe". I'm not sure how it worked either.
I'ts funny that this is almost the EXACT same story from about a year ago. So it is either a hoax, or there are more "skull smokers" out there then you think.

Aw. And it was a water pipe? That's even worse. Smoking through a rotting skull is bad enough, but filtering your smoke through rotting skull water?
