I know Hidden Valley was closed as of a week ago, has Winding Stairs opened up yet? They are both part of the Rampart Range Road Trail System, so I assume they will open when RRR opens. Anyone know when that wil be? I drove by this past weekend and there were signs all over the place that said RRR was currently closed.

Also, what about Eagle Rock? Can you get to the top yet? Anyone go last weekend?

I looked here:

http://www.bushducks.com/tripreps/passopen.htm

But there is zero info on any of these trails.

Just looking for some feedback before I make the hour to two hour trip out to some of these trails.

Thanks!

Don't exspct to get to the upper creek crossing. as of today no tracks made it past and the side hill snow ust caused everyone to slide into the trees.

For those that have been there the narrow sidehill section is now worse, covered in deep ,steep snow and you slide into the trees to the driver side. none of the vehicles that went today made it. HOWEVER Saran Wrap is open!
Here is a link to the pics from sunday

I have never figured out where Saran wrap is. Could some one help me out and explain it?

Thanks.

Yeah Eagle Rock has like 4 weeks of nice weather before you can even get past the creek crossing.

I'll check it out soon. I always drove off in the clearing.

So this is just right after the pond crossing, that trail that takes off up the hill?

Where does it come out at?

I did Eagle Rock and Seran Wrap this past sunday. had a great time on both. Unfortunately We could not complete either trail due to snow. Probably could have pushed my way through Seran Wrap but it was getting late and I got out voted by the rest of the group. No way we could have made it to the top of Eagle rock....The snow was on the trail at a point your already leaning left next to a drop off. With that snow there if we tried it we would have had body damage or worse. Was a good run though...several hours of the trail are drivable and has some really cool obsticals. drive arounds for are avail for stock vehicles.

Anybody been down to Eagle Rock lately? Planning on heading down there tomorrow, but may change that if there's still too much snow.

This trail looks kinda fun. Where is it? Looks like you guys are saying its near Cripple Creek...? Anywhere to camp/fish up there. Trying to find a place that I can go camping this weekend.
