Prayers answered?

Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a churchgoer, but consider myself to be pretty spiritual.

Today my back was up against the wall with a sick dog and a heartbroken volunteer. I think all of our hearts were broken. Anyway, I posted on a dog board that I'm active on, that if anyone could spare any prayers for this dog and his foster mom, that we'd really appreciate it.

When she got home from work, it seemed that he was almost completely better! His "illness" is a back problem and because he only has three legs, surgery isn't an option. In fact, we have very few options. This morning, he couldn't walk at all, and yet this evening he's walking, running, and wagging.

I'm of course stunned and a bit speechless. Kind of freaked out too.

I'd love to hear if anyone else has had prayers/wishes answered. This has really freaked me out.

I've had a dog display that same exact behavior. She couldn't stand up at all in the morning, not for food, not for anything. Moved her head around, but that was it. We had to carry her to the vet. We were sure she'd had a stroke. When we arrived at the vet, she was completely fine. Running around like nothing had happened. Same thing happened again a few years later. Still no clue what it was, but there was definitely something wrong with her both times.
