Well, the Avs played a dismal first period, but the 2nd and 3rd were played very hard and competitive. Budaj was amazing after Theodore left the game as a result of illness. All in a tough arena for anyone to play in, and the first period not withstanding it was a good start for the Avs :thumbsup:

I was workin Valet, pretty funny! Tons of cars left after the first and through the second. I did not think anybody would be left by the end. Money was on point so at least people did not take it out on us.

I was there and can say that was the worst game I've attended, end of 2nd most Avs fans realized it was time to head home. I enjoyed the octopus thrown out at the start of the 3rd...some tool carried that thing around for 2 hours. There were a ton of Red Wing fans. I could smell 'em.

I think it had alot to do with starting Theodore. IMO Budaj should have started against Detroit.
