Gotta love the F-16. Great airplane even when someone dings it.

I run into trees all the time with my F18 and have no problems. Oh, wait, that's using GoogleEarth...

Saw that on the history channel show a few months ago. At first, you think "yeah, right", but then they show you the pictures. That whole right wing was gone.

"Ladies and gentleman, this is your captain speaking, I just turned off the no smoking sign. I figured if the plane is smoking, why shouldn't you."

I don't know the current rules but in the Stone Age when I was on active duty the Report Of Survey rules barred charging for major weapons systems. He has bigger things to sweat if they put him in front of a Flying Evaluation Board. He could lose his wings (and flight pay).

Nobody? I've got to be the one to say it?
Ok, then.
If that had been an A-10, you wouldn't even have had to buff it out.

If it had been an A-10, it would have been slow enough to see the tree and avoid it:flipoff2:

Either that or the tree would have pulled up its roots and run away like in the cartoons.
