Is there an place that is ok to camp in Montrose that is by Die Trying or Cactus trails?

I see people camping out there all the time. Plenty of places to put a tent. If you want to haul a camper out there it may not make it.. :eek:

I could take you there (if I lived closer) but there's no way to tell someone how if you've never been. Stop by McPherson's Offroad in Montrose and they can help ya out with directions. Good peeps there.

...McPhereson's are good people, just stay on the trails out there, as it is no longer open to cross country travel, amongst other things.
You can always call Alpine Offroad - good people. Owner of Alpine (Terry) is also the VP of the local 4WD club that helps keep the Dry Gulch area open (where the trails are).
