Tenderloin but, I generally make the run once a year to the beef plant in Fort Morgan and get a 80lbs box from my buddies that still work there :flipoff2:

Good "everyday" steak.. I vote for ribeye. The bone/fat in a t-bone isnt for me.

From your list it's sirloin

Ribeye..... minimal fat, trainable to come out decent in terms of tenderness.

I cant eat sirloin, if I readily know what it is, too many other cuts that are better for the same price..... I.E. Ribeye/NY Strip

Of the selections you gave us, ribeye for me.

If I am buying a steak I buy a NY strip, at home or when I go out.

I like getting del monico steaks. I'm no beef expert, but compared to plain sirlion a del monico is pretty tasty when I cook it on the grill.

Ribeye is my choice out of the three in the poll.

There is another small difference. Porterhouse steaks are cut from the sirloin end of the short loin and T-Bone steaks from the rib end.

Truth is If I eat a 1 1/2 inch thick Porterhouse these days there's not much room for anything else. :D

End of july? Im hoping its ready by then. Early crop should be hitting by then, but it all depends on what the weathers like this year.

thought about it, but the steaks were a huge success last year, and I really wont have time to tend a pig, to much other stuff going on thru the day.

tenderloin first then ribeyes and a surprising third would be flatiron steaks. We have been getting them lately and for the money they cant be beat!!
