Yup, there's an inkling of sun in Denver and everyone and their brother wants to post up asking if all the various and sundry 11000 foot mountain passes are open yet. Happens every spring. Listen up people.....any trail above, say, 8500 feet will NOT be open until LATE MAY AT THE EARLIEST.
Anyhoo, after that short rant, here's my suggestion. Is there a way to create a thread or area where the status of trails can be updated. I know trail damage and bushducks have similar things, but they really aren't well traveled sites like this one. We've got all the folks here on a regular basis that can update a list like this far more real-time, and hopefully avoid having to strike myself in the forehead with a ball-peen after reading this year's "is Holy Cross open yet" post at the end of April.
