Well its been a long time since my old shovelhead has been on the road, Last spring/summer was massive overtime, and then in July I blew up my back with two herniated discs, at work, so that killed the rest of the season. Bout the only riding I did last year was to go fill the old bitch up with fuel..........Fast forward to today, My back is healing up nicely from surgery about 5 weeks ago now, and was feeling good enough to push the bike out of the shed. Naturally the battery was trashed, and the gas smelled pretty bad, and the brakes needed to be bled. So off to the parts store for a battery, and oil filter. New battery in, fluids changed out, go to bleed the brakes, and snap, off comes the bleeder screw,, oops. Back to the parts store for new bleeder.. fun part of that is taking the saddle bag supports off to get a straight shot with the drill to easy out it. but luck was with me, and didnt break off the ez out, This year lol..

So, not going to push my luck to far, but took it a couple miles down the road, and back. Felt damned good to get in the wind again.
:D :D :D :D :D :D

Nice. I'm jealous, especially with the weather we are having today. :bounce: I can't wait to get my scooter back together and take it for a ride.

Now if I could just get these carbs dialed in on the 750, I would be thrilled to death. Its light enough, I think I could start riding it around to all these damn dr apptmts

At first I thought 'shovelhead' referred to your receding hairline; upon reflection I realized you meant your bike. ;) :flipoff2:

This tread reminds me that is time to take the sporty out of the garage and start her up.... I hope it's nice this weekend.
