Micro Mosquito mini heli review

Bottom line - make sure you are getting a Syma or ITC, not an Alany...

So you finally got one. I rememer us talking abbout getting one a year ago. I never did find one at RS last year so I just whent all out & went strat to the mere expesive stuff.

A walkera 5#6 & a Blade CX2. Then I went for the single rotor helis.

Then I got back into fixed wing a bit. I ended up getting plug & play Styker, Kyosho F-16 & an Ultra Fly P-51Mustang at Jeffco's auction in Feb. It belonged to a guy I new for a long time in the late 80's & 90's so I knew it was good flyier. Can't wait to fly it here in a few weeks.

This years auction was a great buyers market. Alot of real nice stuff went for pennys on the dollar.

Are these any better than the Havoc? I played with one for a few days and had a hard time getting it to go any farther than a few feet forward. Can you actually do more than just hover?

Yes they are way better than the havoc.

The Alany sucks. I got an ITC version of the Mosquito 3 (I think Radio Shack is carrying them at $70) and will be doing a write up of that next week. I have flown it already though, and it is a good flyer once you get used to it. I can go forward, back, up, down, left, right, etc. Here's a pic I took:
